What you Must know about Micro Pavé & Bead Set Diamonds Engagement Rings.

When it comes to Micro Pavé Setting, also known as Micro Bead Setting, there is a huge range of skill levels and quality. True Micro Pavé setting consists of an actual microscope with which the master setter uses precise measurements to drill the holes necessary for each diamond which is usually less than a millimeter in diameter. Yes, Less Than 1 Millimeter! The average ant is 2 millimeters long so imagine the skill level required to set each diamond of that size perfectly aligned with the next diamond and the previous.

The beauty of Micro Pavé setting is that, most importantly, by using smaller diamonds you are cutting out all the space/gold you see when you set larger diamonds next to each other. Since round diamonds can’t fully fit next to each other due to the round edges, the smaller the diamond the less space is wasted when they are in cluster. Once you have your micro pavé diamond ring set properly by the right master Setter who knows what he/she is doing and has the patience and is allotted the time to take care of the beauty he/she is about to create, you will fall in love with the diamond encrusted beaded look and all the sparkly brilliance and scintillation.

Micro Bead Diamond rings are special and need special care. Usually you have 100 + diamonds next to each other so you need to take extra care in its maintenance. Unlike regular Pavé rings, Micro Pavé rings should not be tossed in the Ultrasonic cleaner for a long time and special care should be taken if sizing is necessary.
