The Modern Antique Diamond Engagement Ring

Posted by

One of the best things about diamonds is the constant recreation of fine jewelry designs that helps a diamond center stand out. Your diamond engagement ring can be anything you envision through the art of fine jewelry. On our latest blog post we talked about the top 3 engagement ring designs you should know about. This week's selected piece showcases a great example of how you can use a classic jewelry design to create a modern setting that includes vintage artistry. That's right, LeZari's Ring of the Week is a combination of a Modern and Vintage designed Engagement piece.

LeZari & Co. Ring of the Week

Style T557 offers the best of both worlds, a beautiful leaf design surrounding the gallery of a halo setting. Small brilliant round diamonds are set between milgrained leaves that meet half way through a pointed accent shank. The V- shaped shank can be compared to a shields shape incorporated into mid evil armor. This concept traces back to the Victorian era, one of Fine Jewelry's most infamous pioneer. Milgraining (one of our favorite engagement ring designs) is used throughout the borders of the halo setting.

A combination of a solid halo ring encrusted with brilliant round diamonds and vintage design is what creates a fantastic Modern Engagement Ring. As we have mentioned before there are no set rules in the creation of the engagement ring you envision however it is important to see what looks compliment the diamond center.
